The conference focuses on newly emerging information security research with a balance of topics on auditing and pen-testing, and security and defensive strategies. In general, presentations will address different aspects of information security—all presentations will include demos and be technically oriented and practical.

The presenters are not only experienced security professionals at the vanguard of leading information security technology, but also experienced instructors who have prepared tutorials intended to help you stay abreast of the latest developments in this rapidly moving technological field. The best and the brightest have been assembled and they have arranged unique and original material to help you maintain technological leadership.

All presentations and official communications will be in English to allow our non-Finnish speaking presenters and attendees to participate without any language restrictions.

The conference will be held in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, allowing all participants to enjoy themselves while expanding their knowledge on information security.

The registration fee includes the syllabus, material, lunch, coffee, and on the first day the evening program.

Venue

One of the finest hotels in Finland, in a building that has been a modern landmark since 1991, the stylish Radisson SAS Royal Hotel is located in the heart of Helsinki. The hotel welcomes you to experience its fresh hospitable and international atmosphere.

As for public transportation, Helsinki city bus and several subway stations are right across the street. The railway station for local commuting and long-distance trains is only a few minutes away on foot. The trip to the airport takes about half an hour by taxi, and conveniently a taxi stand is just outside the hotel’s main entrance. Buses to the airport depart from a bus depot just 500 meters away, and ferries taking you to Estonia, Sweden, Russia, and Germany are within a few kilometers.
